Themes/Files not updated during publish

Problem:

Company X has a themes revisitation. I stripped the themes off and the default page regained its original background & link colors. When I published the link colors were right but the background never linked back. The file was on the server, but default wasn't updated and the background was still looking for a missing theme.


Solution:

If themes are applied for the server to get the "old" look back. You have to bring up the template file (in this case default.htm) open it, replace the background with itself and save. That will force the publishing wizard to update default.htm and all the files based on its background...

This will also work for other errors publishing where an image is dropped in or a background swapped but not all the pages see the template master's new look. All you have to do is go back to the master delete the image, re-import the image, and save. FP will update all the pages that used the master giving them new last saved dates which will make them all publish to the server.
